Help us build it.
American healthcare has too often lost its way. Patients who cannot afford care are turned away. Physicians who insist on doing the right thing are pushed out. Care has become a business — and the institutions that run it have grown comfortable with what they refuse to question.
Mercy Gate Foundation is the nonprofit we are building as an answer to that. A group of physician-led practices held together by a covenant. A Care Fund being set up to serve patients who cannot pay. A permanent endowment, based on the Islamic legal tradition of waqf, being built so that care for the most vulnerable is paid for from the institution’s own reserves rather than by any single year’s fundraising.
Your gift today helps build it. Every dollar is accounted for. Every commitment we make is published.

The Care Fund
The Care Fund is a separate fund inside Mercy Gate Foundation, protected by the Board, for patients who cannot afford care. It follows the Islamic legal tradition of waqf (وقف) — a trust held for a purpose — and will open once its oversight and operations are in place.
The Fund is real and committed to. General gifts today support the work of setting it up. When the Fund opens, you will be able to give to it directly here.
